El Deseo S.A was founded in 1986, by Pedro Almodovar and his brother Agustín. They have produced all the films that Pedro has written and directed, and have also produced other young directors. Their films have opened all around the world: “All about my mother” (Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, Golden Globe, among others); “Talk to her” (Academy Award for Best Script, 5 European Film Awards), “Bad Education” (Best Foreign Film by the New York Critics’ Circle), “Volver” (Oscar’s nominated, Palme d’or for Best Screenplay, EFA) and “Broken Embraces”.

El Deseo has produced other films, highly rated throughout the world for their value and delicacy (“My Life Without Me”, “The Holy Girl” and “The Secret Life of Words”).

Since 1999 MORENA FILMS has been producing feature films, documentaries and television programs.

Throughout this time, MORENA has produced more than 20 feature films including dramas, comedies, thrillers and animation features.

Earmarking its tenth year, Morena ventured into the production of content for television.

In addition to its creative production work, MORENA provides production services to foreign production companies interested in filming in Spain. MORENA has provided these services to productions such as Alexander the Great, and more recently for There be Dragons, directed by Roland Joffe (The Mission).

Our main strategy is focused on the production of innovative and high quality projects with commercial appeal focused on the international markets.

After serving as an advisor to French Prime Minister Raymond Barre, Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre was nominated in January 1979 as Chairman of Sociéte de Production (SFP), a company managing all the studios and facilities of French public television.

He left SFP in July of 1981 to become Chairman of Editions Mondiales, one of the largest magazine publishers in France. There he diversified the company’s activities in the field of film and television, creating REVCOM in 1984 and acquiring Films Ariane in 1986. In January of 1992, he and his wife, Martine de Clermont-Tonnerre, created their own production company, MACT productions.

Among his credits as producer or co-producer are the following: for Société Française de Production, The Return of Martin Guerre by Daniel Vigne. For Films Ariane, as Producer: Réunion by Jerry Schatzberg, The Favor, The Watch and The Very Big Fish by Ben Lewin, The French Révolution by Robert Enrico and Richard Heffron and Vanille Fraise by Gérard Oury. And as Co-Producer, Cinéma Paradiso by Giuseppe Tornatore which won the Special Jury prize at Cannes for Best Foreign Film, Stanno Tutti Bene, also by Giuseppe Tornatore, La Familia by Ettore Scola.

Antoine de Clermont Tonnerre was elected as Unifrance President in January 2009.

Antonio Llorens Olivé has been involved in the adventure of producing movies -production or coproduction contributions-. Among the 17 titles supported: LA RUBIA DEL BAR, BAR-CEL-ONA, ANGOIXA, LA LEY DEL DESEO, EL PLACER DE MATAR, BATON ROUGE, and particularly MUJERES AL BORDE DE UN ATAQUE DE NERVIOS which was nominated Best Foreign Language Picture Academy Award (1989) and has collected 33 million dollars worldwide. He won his first Goya Award (Spanish Academy Award) as producer of this film.

Aurelio De Laurentiis founded FILMAURO in 1975 with more than 300 films to its credit in terms of production and distribution. He is the mind behind some series of movies that have been real blockbusters. Most recent hits include Natale sul Nilo, Christmas in Love, Manuale d’Amore, and Il mio miglior nemico (My best enemy). He has also co-produced French films such as Tais Toi and Les Rivières Pourpres 2, and is now developing various international projects, such as Io Uccido (based on Giorgio Faletti’s best-seller), I Beati Paoli (based on Luigi Natoli’s novel) and The Empire of Dragons (based on Valerio Manfredi’s best-seller).

FILMAURO not only finances films, but also has its own distribution house and home video distribution system.

From 1993 to 2003 Aurelio De Laurentiis was President of the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF, 26 member countries) and was then made Honorary President for life.

Gorjan Tozija graduated art history and archeology at the University "Kiril and Metodij" in Skopje.

From 1979 to 1993, he works for Jadran Film - Zagreb. In the period of 1993 till 1997 he is Director and Producer of Vardar Film. In that period Vardar Film realized Before the Rain, Angels of the Dump, Across the Lake, Gipsy Magic, but also several co-productions like: Felix (French, Slovenia, Macedonia), Night (Albania, Macedonia) and was involved in foreign productions that ware pictured in Macedonia: Peacemaker (Dreamworks) and Welcome to Sarajevo (Miramax).

During his career he worked on over 50 film and TV projects. In 2000 he was a president of the Macedonian Film Professionals Association.
