Company Profile

Bilico is an independent film and audiovisual production company based in Brussels, founded in 2025 by producer Caroline Houben.

The company develops and produces auteur-driven films, short films and documentaries with a strong cinematic vision and socially engaged storytelling, working primarily through European and international co-productions.

Bilico’s first production, Objet d’énigme by Chiara Caterina, premiered in the Tiger Short Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The company is currently developing a slate of international feature films and documentaries with partners in Italy, France, Lithuania, Peru and Canada.​
