Run by André Rouleau and Valérie d’Auteuil, Caramel Film Productions is a Montreal based production company specialized in the development and the production of feature films for the international market.
Since its creation, Productions Caramel Film has excelled in bringing to life numerous projects, meeting critical and box office success and simultaneously building an international partnership.Notably, Caramel Films has produced the award-winning Starbuck (Patrick Huard), followed soon after by Delivery Man (Vince Vaughn), its American remake with Dreamworks also produced by André Rouleau. Caramel Films also produced Funkytown (Patrick Huard), Goon 1 and 2 (Sean William Scott, Liev Schreiber), The F Word (Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Adam Driver), Wait Till Helen Comes (Sophie Nélisse, Maria Bello) to name a few.
It is in Caramel Films vision and undertaking to produce projects aiming to appeal to a broad audience with international distribution. In the last few years, Caramel Films has widened its focus to include animated features to its slate by coproducing Le Magasin Des Suicides by writer-director Patrice Leconte and Ballerina, a 3D animated feature coproduced with QUAD (Intouchables).
