Company Profile
Marco Chimenz is the Co-CEO of Cattleya, one of Italy’s main independent film and TV drama production companies. He is involved in the company’s strategic and main creative decisions. His principal focus is on developing international relations and activities. He also directly oversees the legal and business affairs.
Since its founding Cattleya has produced over 70 feature films. Over the years it has gradually shifted its focus toward scripted drama. It is now regularly supplying television series to national and international broadcasters and streamers, such as Gomorrah for Sky and HboMax, Suburra for Netflix, ZeroZeroZero for Canal+, Sky and Amazon. Most recently it produced Django for and Sky and Canal+, and Circeo for Paramount+ and Rai.
Cattleya and ITV Studios have recently launched Madrid-based Cattleya Producciones that will specialise in the creation and production of TV drama and films in Spanish language.
Marco Chimenz was President of the EPC from 2015 to 2019 and is currently a member of its board.
