Leone Film Group was founded by Sergio Leone in 1989 and today is a listed company on the AIM Italian market, with the founder’s children: Andrea and Raffaella as primary shareholders. Since 2000, the Leone Film Group has specialized in two main sectors: (1) Distribution: Theatrical, Free-TV, Pay-TV, Home Video, Digital; and (2) Production: Production, Co-production, Executive production, International co-production, Italian TV series production, International TV series co-production, International executive production service.
LFG has also bought blockbusters such as Ron Howard’s Rush, Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wallstreet, Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eightand Damien Chazelle’s La La Land. In 2013, LFG signed an output deal with Lionsgate’s Summit, consolidating a significant partnership that will last until 30 June 2019.
In December 2013, the Company was listed on the Italian AIM stock exchange index and thefollowing year the Group consolidated its position in the film production industry by acquiring Lotus Production, through which it produced films such as Perfect Unknowns. (2016) by Paolo Genovese, La Pazza Gioia (2016) by Paolo Virzì, The Place (2017) by Paolo Genovese and A Casa Tutti Bene (2018) by Gabriele Muccino.
2015 saw the Group maximize its know-how and its international growth by winning theInternational executive production mandate for the film John Wick 2 from Lionsgate (a film in which LFG is also a distributor in the Italian market). Since then, LFG has worked andis still developing, numerous International executive productions, for example: American Assassin, All the Money in the World, Mary Magdalene, Europe Raiders, Trust (tv series), Sense8 (tv series), The Pope (tv series).
The company has also engaged in the production of local and international TV series. In 2017 it produced its first TV series, Immature. Other series that are currently in development and have international potential are: Colt (based on an original idea by Sergio Leone, written and directed by Stefano Sollima) and Beati Paoli (executive produced by Giuseppe Tornatore).The Group manages a library of about 500 titles, including all of Sergio Leone’s films.

A sudden storm blocks an entire family on a small island, reunited there in order to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of the two elderly parents, Peter and Alba. The many relatives are forced to live under the same roof for two days and two nights, without a way to escape. The storm that torments the island inevitably ends up also disturbing the minds of all those present. The lives of the brothers, the cousins, and the grandchildren inevitably collide, suspended in a past that revisits old disagreements, that have never been forgotten, and in the present conflicts re-emerge not entirely resolved, and a future that seems to be uncertain for everyone. The island turns into a labyrinth of passions. Everyone has to deal with their personal situation: sentimental, familial or professional.
