MRP MATILA RÖHR PRODUCTIONS is a company that produces feature films and drama series in Finland and abroad which two film industry professionals, Marko Röhr and Ilkka Matila, have been building since 1990.


Over 60 award-winning feature films and numerous nature documentaries and drama series represent the vision and professionalism of the company.
Many of the company’s films are considered milestones in the Finnish film history as they have received acclaim both from the audience and the critics alike.

His homosexual marriage is in trouble and going home forces him to face his family and the deeply religious Laestadian community that rejected him. With partner Sanna Tervo he works to solve the case only to discover other truths about himself, his hometown, and whether one has the power to forgive all sins.

Based on true events an epic story of one man’s struggle for survival. Jussi Ketola, returns to Finland from the great depression struck America only to face growing political unrest. One summer night of 1930, nationalist thugs violently abduct Ketola from his home. Beaten and forced to walk the Eternal Road towards a foreign Soviet Russia, where cruelty seems to know no end, his only dream is to return to his family cost it what it may.
