Odeon Fiction and its team stand for the production of high-quality fictional content for television, cinema and streaming platforms across all genres and formats.

Odeon Fiction produces successful TV series such as EIN FALL FÜR ZWEI, DER STAATSANWALT or LETZTE SPUR BERLIN and the series HARTER BROCKEN, DIE FÜCHSIN and MASUREN KRIMI, which regularly achieve top ratings on German television. Several series, serials and TV movies are in production and preparation. These include 37 SECONDS for ARD Degeto, TENDER HEARTS for Sky and BOOM BOOM BRUNO for Warner TV Serie.

Formats such as TÜRKISCH FÜR ANFÄNGER have received many national and international awards. Cinema productions include ERKAN & STEFAN, JOHN RABE, DAS FLIEGENDE KLASSENZIMMER and ZOROS SOLO.

DEADWIND is a highly thrilling and emotional Nordic Crime series mixing crime investigation and personal drama of the main character Sofia Karppi, a female detective in her 40’s who has just lost her husband and is left alone with two children to take care of. The crime starts with the body. Finnish construction company Tempo is planning a borough in Helsinki, which generates its own energy with a private wind turbine park. Things get complicated when a woman’s body is found underneath the construction site.

A true-story account of a German businessman who saved more than 200,000 Chinese during the Nanjing massacre in 1937-38. After 18 years building and managing a vast Siemens plant in Nanking, John Rabe is ordered by the new Nazi regime to close it down. Before he can pack, the Japanese army, lead unofficially by a bloodthirsty imperial uncle, lays siege to the city. Rabe accepts, as a prominent representative of Japan's major European ally, to head the Western ex-pats society's plan to start and run an international zone, like work in Shanghai. Rabe, however, wants it to save his workers and their close ones, over 200,000 and sacrifices all his personal interests.

The series follows the story of the fictional day-shift squad of the Berlin "Kriminaldauerdienst" (Crime Squad) in the problematic quarter Kreuzberg. It can be divided into three narrative levels; a plot spanning all three seasons is a corruption case within the Berlin police that the officers of the Berlin Crime Squad investigate, additionally, the show follows the private lives of the investigators, and the criminal cases they are confronted with every day.
