Company Profile

 

Pierpoline Films is an independent production company based in Paris and New York developing and producing feature films, documentaries and series. The company is headed by Joyce Pierpoline, best known for producing the award-winning cult classic, Teeth (Sundance Jury Prize, Berlinale) considered one of the top ten political horror films of all time. Recent productions include: The Listener (in post production); The Transfiguration (Cannes); Angelica (Berlinale); Happy Tears (Berlinale); and the multi award-winning first film by Neil LaBute, In the Company of Men (Sundance, Cannes). 

 

Joyce is a member of the board of BAFTA North America where she is Chair of the film committee. She also sits on the executive board of NYWIFT and is a member of the PGA, European Film Academy and the International Emmys. She regularly lectures at film schools and participates in panels at film festivals around the world.

When he meets the depressed teenager Sophie, they become friends and spend their leisure time together affecting Milo.
