Arena Film was founded by Ulrik Bolt Jorgensen in Copenhagen 1992. During the 90s, the company produced TV, documentaries, and price winning films with directors like Lars Hesselholdt, Gabriel Axel, and Nils Gaup a.o.
From 2003 to 2016, Bolt Jorgensen held a position as Film Commissioner in Copenhagen and since 2008, he has been responsible for setting up CPH FilmFund, a public/private Regional Film Investment Fund in the Copenhagen Region, involving projects as The Danish Girl, The Bridge, and Wallander.
In 2016 Arena Film has set a new mission to bring Scandinavian stories and talent to a global audience.The Company has more than five drama series and feature films in development and is involved with an animated series as well.Jorgensen is facilitating production services in Denmark and his team has started recently to provide services for The Guardian Angel starring Josh Lucas and Pilou Asbaek.
Arena Film is also a member of Producers Association of Denmark.
