Arena Film is founded by Ulrik Bolt Jørgensen in Copenhagen 1992. During the 90es the Company produced TV, documentaries and price winning films with directors like Lars Hesselholdt, Gabriel Axel and Nils Gaup a.o.

From 2003-2016 Bolt Jørgensen held a position as Film Commissioner in Copenhagen and since 2008 as well responsible for setting up CPH Film Fund, a public/private Regional Film Investment Fund in the Copenhagen Region, involved in project as THE DANISH GIRL, THE BRIDGE and WALLANDER.

In 2016 Arena Film has set a mission to bring Scandinavian stories and talent to a global audience. The company has a slate of drama series and feature films in development. The company is as well facilitating production services in Denmark. Arena Film is a member of Producers Association of Denmark.
