Atlantique Productions, a Mediawan company , is a leading French producer of high-end TV series. The production company is primarily creative driven with a focus on the development, packaging and production of dramas for the local and international market. Based in Paris, Atlantique embraces collaborations with experienced talents and producers from Europe and the US. It is headed by Olivier Bibas.
Among our recent productions:
The mini-series THE EDDY (8x52’), created by Jack Thorne and directed by Damien Chazelle, for Netflix, is a musical drama set in a contemporary Paris. The Eddy premiered at the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival.
The mini-series EDEN (6x45’), created by Dominik Moll and broadcasted on Arte and ARD, is a two-way perspective (Franco-German) on the refugee crisis in Europe. Eden was in official competition in the 2019 Séries Mania Festival.
The series HIERRO (8x52’), a thriller shot in the Canary Islands for Arte and Movistar, distinguished itself by obtaining many awards. The second season is currently in post production.

The miniseries MIDNIGHT SUN (8x52’), made for Canal+ and SVT, received many awards and the Export Prize (best selling show) in 2018.
The three seasons of the series BORGIA (38x52’), created by Tom Fontana for Canal+ and ZDF, established a record audience for the launching of a French and foreign series on Canal+.
The two seasons of TRANSPORTER : THE SERIES (24x45’) broadcasted on M6, HBO Canada, TNT and Netflix.

The Eddy is a musical drama set in contemporary multicultural Paris revolving around a club, its owner, the house band, and the chaotic city that surrounds them. Elliot Udo, who was a celebrated jazz pianist in New York, is now in Paris, part-owner of a failing jazz club, hiding from everyone. He has an on-again off-again relationship with his lead singer, but is emotionally stunted. When his fifteen-year-old daughter shows up suddenly, he has to face his weakness and learn to grow up.

A Greek beach on a sunny day. All of a sudden, a small dinghy boat crammed with fifty refugees lands on the beach and its passengers start running through a crowd of flabbergasted tourists. This disturbing scene shapes the destinies of many characters: a Nigerian on the run, a Greek security guard haunted by guilt, a French camp owner caught up in the upheaval, a German couple hosting a secretive refugee, a Syrian family taking a fresh start but soon to be tormented by their past.

When Judge Candela is transferred to Hierro, the most withdrawn island of the Canaries archipelago, she encounters a close- knit community, currently focused on preparing the Bajada, a religious parade that only occurs once every four years. Shortly after her arrival the body of Fran, a youngster from the Island, is discovered underwater. He was killed the day before his wedding with Pilar, the daughter of Díaz, a shady local business man. Díaz immediately becomes the main suspect however
Candela decides to release him on a bail, which generates resentment and hostility among the inhabitants of Hierro.
