Before joining Constantin Film in 2004, Friedrich spent several years working for a boutique arthouse film production company, Munich-based naked eye filmproduction (known inter alia for the feature film LABYRINTH OF LIES). In 2010, he became one of the managing directors of Berlin-based Moovie and in 2017, also one of the managing directors of Munich-based Constantin Television, both being tv-production entities (and subsidiaries of Constantin Film).

 

When Constantin Television was merged, Friedrich became Chief of Business Development and Commercial Affairs at Constantin Film, focusing on all tv & streaming activities of the group (fiction and documentaries). Since March 2024, he has been a member of the advisory board of Constantin Entertainment, one of the biggest independent production entities for non-scripted content in Germany.

 

Friedrich has been an EPC board member since 2020.
