Evil Doghouse is an international production studio creating both feature film and series content.
The company was formerly Filmhuset Gruppen AS, which was established in 1974.
Europafilm AS (distribution company established 1933) is also a part of the group. Egil Ødegård is the group's CEO and also a producer. During the last decade, he has produced and co-produced more than fifteen feature films and approximately fifty other films, including shorts and documentaries.
The other main producer is Trond Berg-Nilssen; he has been a television film producer for 15 years, with more than 2500 episodes of television drama.
From its inception, Evil Doghouse has associated with some of the most original and promising young talents within the Norwegian film industry. The company has maintained its firm commitment to comprehensive script development.
The group is also actively involved in nurturing new talent through a consistent output of short films.
Evil Doghouse is 100% owned by Norwegian shareholders.
