Company Profile
IRIS GROUP, headed by Nicolas Steil and Katarzyna Ozga, includes production and distribution companies in Luxembourg, France, Germany and Belgium. Today, thanks to its reputation in terms of production and distribution, the group is a key strategic
player in the European film market.
The group dates back to 1986, when Nicolas Steil founded IRIS PRODUCTIONS, one of the first production companies in Luxembourg. The Iris Group includes IRIS PRODUCTIONS
DEUTSCHLAND in Berlin and IRIS FILMS in Brussels.
IRIS GROUP has co-produced with partners from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec, Austria, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, England and Ireland. In recent years, the group has also focused on the production of TV series.
To date, IRIS GROUP has produced and co-produced over a hundred works, sold more than 250 films internationally and distributed over 300 films in France.

Icarus is the young apprentice of his father, the illustrious inventor Daedalus, in his sculpture workshop in Knossos. His life is turned upside down by the discovery of a mysterious boy with a bull's head who lives hidden in the Royal Palace. A secret friendship unites the two teenagers until King Minos locks the “Monster” in the labyrinth built by Daedalus. In one fell swoop, Icarus loses his only friend and the trust he had in his father.
When Prince Theseus arrives in Crete to kill the Minotaur, Icarus is willing to do anything to save his childhood friend. Alas, the infernal machine is set in motion, and the young dreamer's disillusionment culminates in a tragic choice between darkness and light.
