Paula Vaccaro is an award-winning British-Italian-Argentine film producer, executive producer and scriptwriter with over two decades of international experience in independent cinema. Originally from Buenos Aires and based in London, she founded Pinball London in 2009. The company is known for bold, cross-cultural collaborations in film and television, with a strong commitment to auteur-driven storytelling. Its productions have received over 100 awards, including three Venice Lions.
Her work spans fiction, documentary and hybrid formats, with premieres at leading festivals such as Sundance, Berlin, Venice, New York, San Sebastián, Locarno and IDFA. She has collaborated with renowned talent including Luca Guadagnino, Guillermo Arriaga, Jim Jarmusch, Sally Potter and rising stars like Giovanni Tortorici and Agustina Figueras.
Pinball London also runs Pinball Audiences, specialising in audience engagement and distribution consultancy across the US, Europe and Latin America, and Pinball Arts, which develops content that connects film with broader artistic and technological contexts.
Paula is committed to nurturing emerging talent, having led development programmes and workshops for institutions such as the British Council, Erich Pommer Institute, Netflix and Tatino Films. A BAFTA member and Inside Pictures alumna, she serves on the board of the European Producers Club, advocating for sustainable productions, gender equality and industry accountability.
