Company Profile
Since 2004, Pronto Film has provided top-notch production services in Ukraine—for its own films, as well as for partners like Film.ua, Canal+, Netflix, and HBO Europe.
Pronto’s CEO Maksym Asadchyi is behind the first successful films of independent Ukraine. BROTHERS. THE FINAL CONFESSION (2013) by Victoria Trofimenko were selected to three class A festivals. THE GUIDE (2014) by Oles Sanin set a box office record for a local film.
Two Maksym’s films became Ukrainian Oscar submissions, and his documentary BREAKING POINT. THE WAR FOR DEMOCRACY IN UKRAINE (2016) was in the long-list for Documentary Oscar. Pronto’s films won 4 awards from Ukrainian Film Academy.
Pronto managed production for Ulrich Seidl’s IMPORT/EXPORT (2007); Ukraine’s most successful TV series SNIFFER (2013—); French thriller COLD BLOOD (2019) starring Jean Reno, and French-Swiss sports drama OLGA (2021) by Elie Grappe.
At the moment, Pronto is finishing production for the most ambitious Ukrainian film ever — epic action DOVBUSH by Oles Sanin, and a sports drama STORM SCHOOL by Vincent Ward in co-production with Germany, Australia, China and Switzerland. Pronto is looking for new projects for co-production or production service in Ukraine.
