REXINFILM focuses on development and production of high-quality feature films and TV series of German and European origin. Cooperation with select partners distinguished by their love for cinema and filmmaking are central to our philosophy. Capitalizing on the strengths of Johannes Rexin’s long-standing experience, market presence and contacts, REXINFILM intends to create a first-class portfolio of projects and to partner with great directors and producers both in Europe and throughout the world.
Johannes Rexin’s credits include, among others, Pokot, Grain, Lamb, Hannah Arendt, Bal – Honey, and Antichrist. He  produced Qissa – the Ghost Is A Lonely Traveller, the first-ever German-Indian coproduction, under the European Convention, with Eurimages, filmed on the remote reaches of the Indo-Pakistani border. With a profound background in production, his experience also includes the execution of production services and Postproduction Management.

Johannes has worked with distinguished directors such as Agnieszka Holland, Lars von Trier, Margarethe von Trotta, Malgoska Szumowska, and as a producer has been awarded the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival 2010 and the German Oscar, the Deutscher Filmpreis Lola (Silver) in 2013. His last co-production, "Grain" has just been awarded the Grand Prix at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2017.
